Meet Our Founder

There was a point in my journey when I started to notice something I couldn’t ignore. So many spaces were beginning to feel the same. They were beautiful, but they didn’t feel personal. They didn’t reflect the people living in them, and I kept wondering how we got there.

My background is in engineering and project management, and I’ve spent the past decade working in the construction industry. I was trained to bring structure, clarity, and precision to complex projects, and for a long time, that’s what I focused on. But as I continued working with homeowners, and during a time in my life when I also had the opportunity to work in real estate, I started to see things differently. I saw how often people felt rushed into decisions, guided more by timelines, pressure, or trends than by what they truly wanted. I’ve experienced that feeling myself as a homeowner, that sense of not always getting the space you imagined because the process moves faster than you do.

That never sat right with me, because a home is not just something you build. It is something you live in, grow in, and shape your life around. It should reflect your experiences, your culture, and who you are.

I created The Design Build Group because I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to create a process where you feel guided instead of overwhelmed, where your voice is heard and where every decision is made with intention. Not based on what is trending, but based on what feels right for you.

I care deeply about the spaces we create and the people we create them for. I believe in working with artists and craftsmen who value their work, because meaningful spaces take time, care, and thought.
